There are always things to do and help out with at the Orphanage. From caring for the kids, to doing activities and programmes, to cleaning up and fixing things.
Time to get to work! We helped out in packing and sorting out the store room, getting necessities, clearing junks from the kids' rooms, packing their shelves, washing and scrubbing toilet walls, doing mass laundry so that the kids could sleep on clean bedsheets, picking up recyclables and trash from the area surrounding the compound, supervising the kids and joining them in keeping their rooms and compound clean and tidy, and getting the older boys to wash their clothes weekly (haha!)
Not forgetting all the fun and laughter when doing these chores together with the kids!
