We're a group of 4 friends from Singapore, heading to Care Corner Orphanage Foundation (CCOF) in Chiangmai, Thailand, this June to July. This will be my 6th time at CCOF spending time with the children. And this time I'll be there for 33 days, sure am excited! We aim to meet the needs of CCOF as well as bond with the children through sports - Floorball. Through sports we could build discipline, character and share our stories with them.
We have started collecting donated Floorball sticks from our friends. Do contact us if you would like to make a monetary contribution of any amount too. We'll definitely need all the funds that we can gather!
Funds will be used to...
1) Meet the needs of CCOF 💛 For example, getting necessities and providing better food or improving facilities. Needs come in various forms. We hope to play a part in as many ways we could.
2) Purchase of a few Floorball 💨 sticks and balls, change the old or worn-out grips of donated sticks, trim the length of the Floorball sticks, create Floorball boundaries (likely using nets), and buying or making of goal posts.
3) Funds will also be needed in conducting activities 🙋 with the children such as english teaching, games, excursions, and structured-learning experiences.
As the date nears, we'll share more on what are some needs that we can look into. We make plans but remain flexible to changing circumstances. More updates soon
All remaining monetary contributions after the activities, logistics, necessities, Floorball project etc, will be donated to CCOF.
