Thanks

Here's a post specially to thank all of you for your support, be it through monetary contribution, buying of the crafts made by some of the children from CCOF, contributing ideas and suggestions, believing and trusting us in our cause. We hope that you'll continue to support us even in our next adventure of serving, learning and growing at CCOF next year. Haha!

We donated the remaining contributions, as well as the funds from the selling of crafts made by the children, to CCOF! :)

- We were able to bring the children out for a delicious Mookata (Thai style BBQ buffet). They love it! It was so good! And really cheap too!

- Conduct our games with all the logistics needed (the games aimed at character building and team buulding). Although we used mainly recycled materials, and items that we could get from our homes or at CCOF, we still needed to buy the LED finger lights, flour, plastic cups and watermelons.

- Cook a huge pot of curry for the children which they enjoyed a lot! Credits to our head chef too, Rahayu! Haha! We were able to buy the chicken, and the needed ingredients.

- Made a card key-chain for the children whereby each of them would get a bible verse each. Some of them hang it on their school bags almost right away. Haha! This is to encourage them and to remind them of God's unfailing promises and His goodness.

- Bought 2 canvas at very low prices from a place that sells goods in bulk! This canvas activity was for the children to thank the staff of CCOF who have been running the orphanage and caring for them. The children wrote words of appreciation and thanks to the staff. We got 2 of the oldest children (Apple and Charlew) to present it to Jacinth during one of the nights.

Stack-o-cups! They persevered under the hot weather to stack these cups up as a team!
Good team spirit displayed by each team! Yay!

Flour game whereby the children fish for the alphabets written on the crushed paper balls using their mouth to form the word L O V E .
Of course this game isn't complete without some flour war! Haha yup you've guessed it!
Everyone was covered by flour in one way or another. Haha!
Decorating the canvas with drawings!

Penning down their heart of thanks. Let's always remain thankful and appreciative.

Ta searching for the verse on his thai bible! :)
The children crowded around Jacinth, wanting to know what their bible verses meant.
And look at the LED finger lights right there yo!

Chi and I with the raw chicken that we're about to cook for our curry chicken!

Cutie Pi Shan posing with the gigantic pan of garlic!

Chefs at work! Curry coming right up!

In goes the spices, sauces, and paste!

Look good! Taste good as well! Glad the children loved it!

Shan beaming with happiness. Haha We were finishing up the card keychains for the children

Little Chi clipped the keychain onto his school bag almost right away. Hehehe

On some days, we helped to do some cooking too!

The watermelon game! Eat the watermelon and spit out the seed onto your face!
The team with the most number of seeds on their faces in total wins!

Together, we can do anything.

Chef Diana!

Du with a flour face! Cutie!!

Little Dang's attempt at the flour game! With Jolene's assistance! Haha

Looks like marshmallow!

Black markers always come in handy! Look at Chi's face covered with flour.
And yup... my shirt too... Hahaha!

Remember always.
With love,
Bella
